Daryl Flood Participates in Keeping Kids Safe Touch-A-Truck Event

(AUSTIN, TEXAS – November 18, 2019) – The SAFE Alliance presented Touch-A-Truck 2019 at Camp Mabry in Austin, Texas, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on September 28. Daryl Flood Relocation & Logistics participated in the event which raises funds for Keeping Kids Safe.

“Each year, this event continues to grow and we are so honored to be part of it,” said Samantha Starnes, Social Media and Event Marketing Specialist. “Seeing the kids light up as they explore our truck and trailer is such a fun sight to see.”

Moving to the U.S. Handing out sunglasses to those enjoying the event and providing access for families to explore a tractor and 53’ trailer, Van Operator Adrian Pando represented Daryl Flood Relocation & Logistics.

In addition to vehicles, the event featured live music, food trucks, and a kid zone that included a petting zoo, face painting and barrel train rides. The 2019 event raised $164,000, the most ever.

It is estimated around 6,000 guests attended throughout the day.

According to their website, Keeping Kids Safe, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)3 agency.

Their mission is to bring together resources for parents, schools and child caregivers to help keep our children safe. In addition to providing valuable information, Keeping Kids Safe also offers educational, safety presentations including: Cyber Safety, Sexting, Anti-Bullying Awareness and education, Child Sex Trafficking Awareness education, Personal Safety Training (Kid Escape, Date Escape) and Child ID App, and other advanced Safety Products.
